Hello Medium!

So, i’ve been dying to write some sequels or prequels to some great movies. (not that they need them. i mean i wouldn’t want to change things but side stories.) reboots i hate, they’re like that damn canker sore that pops up when you least expect it. Anyways, these movies that i imagine only are in a “coming atraction/trailer” form. Can’t quite wrap my head around writing a full movie script. (I’ve tried but always doubt myself) Check it out. Here are some ideas! (Spoilers Alert. if no one has seen these movies)

FIGHT CLUB 2

Love, love, love Fight Club!!! My whole sophmore year in high school revolved around Tyler Durden. Quick recap of the first film. Guy has insomnia decides to seek help. Meets a guy named Tyler Durden. Both open an underground fighting club. Tyler decides to take fight club a little further and makes an army to take down society and all of it’s glamour. Ok not full detail but watch the damn movie.

BTW, not sure if you guys know this, but there’s already a sequal (but in comic book form)Chuck Palahniuk teamed up with Dark Horse Comics and released it in May of 2015. I was kind of upset with the project not my cup of tea.

Here’s the pitch. In the first film we are told by Jack (Ed Norton) and Tyler (Brad Pitt) about their past. How their father went around and never quite settle down with one women. So, what if Tyler’s father had another son. Now Tyler’s father loved this son very much and on his death bed he tells him about his other older brother Tyler. He continues to tell him how he will never forgive himself for abandoning him. He asks the son to look for Tyler and hopes that he may accept his apology once he dies. Once the father dies, the kid takes off and voyages to track Tyler down. Since no one wants to talk, (cause, what is the first rule in fight club?) he only finds residue from the first film. (The house, the bar, airports, and soap.) However, he get’s a breakthrough but in order to get the info he needs to fight. guess who he fights? Jared f****ing Leto (aka angel face)He is told that Tyler is a legend and can’t be found. So, the kid loses hope on search for Tyler and continues to fight underground. Falling in love with fighting and only fighting he avoids project mayhem. This causes a rip between Leto and him. Civil war if we must name it. A scenerio occurs where the kid is thrown into jail. A fading scene where all inmates and guards hudle around for a fight. Fading in and out, and with inmates chanting, we here a clear familiar voice, “If this is your first time here… then….you have to fight!” Then Bam! A shacky film slide reveals both Brad and Ed reprising the role.

Scarface: Montana’s Revenge

Just like the title say’s it. Money, power, and women. You may ask yourself, “who get’s to hold this responsibility?”. No one else but Montana blood. I love this movie. I watched it as a kid (thanks dad!) didn’t understand it then. But later in the years i understood it and loved it. Recap on the movie, you know what? No. If you never seen this film, then step on a thumb tack and get out and watch it! (i was going to say “kill” yourself but then you wouldn’t be able to see this glory of a film.) you know what i’m a nice guy. Here’s a recap of the movie played by kids! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uovMpapeCJQ enjoy!

So now the sequel. So Elvira couldn’t have kids which came to be one of the reasons that led to the divorce of her and Tony. It also spared her life if you kind of think about it. However, after the divorce she did conceive a child. Call it a miracle. Best part, it’s Tony’s child. But Elvira hid the child away from his father’s life and her past so that child wouldn’t follow in their footsteps. Turns out the pig of Sosa, alive and well, finds Elvira, and murders her.Adding the last nail on the coffin for the late Tony. The young Montana discovers who kills his mother. And also finds the past. The child takes the name “Montana” and puts together a small time gang to help bring Sosa down. From stealing coke from ships to stealing from the cartel’s banks. Montana draws Sosa’s attention. And the trailer ends with that famous saying, “Say Hello to my ..” you know the rest.

I say “child” cause not sure if i want it to be with a male role. But nor do i want it to copy “Colombiana”. So that’s why i always end up in doubt about this movie.

I don’t know, it would be cool just to have some closure in films sometimes. I have many other ideas for movies but I’ll leave you guys with these two. If anyone reads this, comment below and let’s see if there’s other movies you’d like to see a sequel or prequel.

Thanks for reading. Later guys!
